Abraquest 3.0 is here this week!
At last, Abraquest version 3 is with us this week!
This is probably the largest release we have done. It is just undergoing final testing and out to the first customer this week, with a personal visit from us.
Its been delayed because we have tried to add everything that has been suggested in the past few months - over 40 enhancements. This week it is undergoing final testing and we have just also added the final enhancement for now - for customers who want to store the Abraquest database on the internal school network, we have added the ability to use SQL/Server as the Abraquest database. Using MS Access on a network drive can sometimes give errors that cause Abraquest to need starting up again.
We are not going to delay Abraquest v3.0 further, it will go out this week, but I just wanted to quickly add if anyone has any issues particularly about COVID-19, then please do get in touch because we will create a v3.1 very quickly for you if something is stopping you from using your library due to COVID-19.
Abraquest v3.0 will be available for general release in a weeks time. As always, free to all Abraquest Software Assurance customers, but as its a major version, it will cost £199.95 + VAT to customers who have not purchased Abraquest Software Assurance.
