25% off during November

To draw attention to the next release of Abraquest, which will be at least 25% quicker and easier when adding books, we are offering 25% discount on everything in our shop during November.

The biggest investment in Abraquest is not the price of the software, its the time involved in adding books in your library for the first time. Even with help from the children sticking on labels etc., it will typically take one person one day to add 250 books.

We are intending on improving that situation massively with the next release of Abraquest, by offering our two and a half million book database to customers via the intranet. This will be available to all new customers for one month for free, then via a monthly fee after that for customers that would like to take advantage of it after initial installation.

Our target is 500 books per day, so we think that 25% should be achievable with the first release.

How will this work? The add books process involves sticking a school bar-code label on the back of the book with a unique number on it. You then scan the ISBN and the school bar-code label into Abraquest, and if it already knows about the book, it fills in the remaining details. If it doesn't you type in the missing details, such as the book title and author.

Having the book database available on-line will mean that many more books will have details available, making the entire process much quicker. This will improve further as more schools use the system and the database is expanded further.

In order to qualify for the discount, simply browse the Abraquest Shop which has 25% off everything during November, and purchase before November 30, 2015.

(N.B. no personal information about a school or its pupils is ever uploaded to the internet and made visible to others).
