Browser Based Abraquest
Coming soon! Web based Abraquest!
I have been involved with Abraquest for the past 20 years. Its evolved into a mature package, full of features that can be turned on in settings when required and is in daily use in many schools in the United Kingdom.
We develop Abraquest in response to customer requests, usually free of charge for Abraquest Software Assurance customers, and apart from one big one (more than 5 suggestions) this year that is going live shortly, there isn't usually much to write about because many questions result in our pointing to features or options that are already available within Abraquest. What can I say about a system that does so much for your school library? Well I do have something to write about.
Over the years we have thought about a web based version of Abraquest that is available in the browser, but its important that we continue to look after existing customers and also give them an upgrade path if they do want to go to the web based Abraquest.
I can announce that we are aiming to have Release 1 of the web based version of Abraquest in its first schools by September 2025. This will be the first release of 3 planned big releases. The first release will allow you to keep track of your books and view your library data from any web browser.
Interested in being a pilot site? Please Contact us for further information. Just to say that pilot sites are free to begin with, and when available, upgrades from the existing Abraquest will be free also (but obviously being web based will be subject to a charge similar in concept to Abraquest Software Assurance).
