Important: All customers should upgrade to Abraquest v3.3.1.0

Abraquest v3.3.1.0 has some important security fixes as well as a new search feature in Issues/Returns.

All customers should upgrade to this version ASAP, ideally during the month of June 2025.

Additionally, there are some new features in this release.

  1. Its not often we update the main parts of Abraquest - Add Books and Issues/Returns - but we have made an exception this time. The drop down on issues/returns that allows a pupil to be selected can now be searched by name, much more obviously than the previous version.
  2. There is a new Borrower History feature on the enquiries menu, also available from Borrower Maintenance. Previously to view a borrowers history you could see this on either Issues or Returns or the Returns Enquiry, but the new option is separate now and a good addition to the enquiries menu.
  3. The backup system could produce an error if Abraquest was left logged in for days. This has now been fixed.
  4. Books not borrowed report has been improved.
  5. Various usability improvements.
  6. Technical improvements to cater for the new web based Abraquest coming soon.

Any comments? Please contact us and let us know what you think!

P.S. Abraquest v3.3.1.0 is installed in the usual way as with all releases Abraquest will prompt saying there is an update available, or if your windows user is not allowed to install updates, your IT can install it in the usual way. Please email support in the event of any issues.
