Abraquest v3 work in progress

We are continuing to work on Abraquest v3, which is the first of many exciting updates for Abraquest this year.

As related in a recent blog post Abraquest v3, 14 new features, we are busy developing and testing some of the remaining new features. We are also coming out with more ideas during testing to improve these features further so its taking a little longer than we had hoped.

Damages

Abraquest v3 has two ways of recording damages, the first during returns, the second if the damage wasn't spotted until after the book had been returned. This helps you manage your library and highlight pupils that are possibly damaging books. There are also similar features for lost and late books.

The following is the report that appears if you press Print Preview when in Damage Input. There is also a Damage Analysis Report (not shown).

Summary

As always, Abraquest releases are free for those with Abraquest Software Assurance.

Be sure to keep an eye out for new features coming after Abraquest v3 - I currently have two ideas for school libraries that nobody else has ever done, which I am keeping very quiet about until we are ready to publish.
